Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude is a Canadian actor who is best recognized for her role in the fantasy TV show Shadowhunters on Freeform, as well as Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea Pa' Que Te Enamores. Other talents she has include being a successful model and dancer. Her home is in Montreal however, she grew up and attended school in Texas. Her love of dance has been a part of her since childhood. She has been trained since her the age of three in many different types. When she was 15 years old was when she began competing in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained a lot of attention in 2008 after she was a part of two seasons of Univision beauty pageant series Nuestra Belleza Latina. In an episode from Telemundo's television show Aurora in 2008, she was an receptionist. The first film she appeared in was an action-drama called Tattooed Love in 2015.
