Jill AND Mary

Jillian Hennessy was born 1968 on the 25th of November and is renowned for her work as a gifted Canadian musician, actor and songwriter. Her contributions to American TV are well-known. She's been recognized for her stellar performance in the American television series Law & Order in which she was awe-inspiring to the viewers during three seasons as the prosecutor Claire Kincaid, and Crossing Jordan for six seasons where she was the protagonist Jordan Cavanaugh. Hennessy is also a shining example of her talents as an actor in films such as RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and the indie films Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class In addition, she developed her writing and co-directing muscles. Hennessy started her acting career along with her sister acting as twin callgirls in Dead Ringers. She was briefly featured in Buddy The Buddy Holly Story The Buddy Holly Story on Broadway in 1990. In 1993, the actress stepped out of the world of musicals, and into the sci-fi world as her character, Dr. Marie Lazarus. She got her big break later in the year, when she got the role of assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order. She captivated audiences with her part for three seasons, until her departure in 1996. Parker has appeared in films that included RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys on the Side, West Wing Angels In America and Boys on the Side. Her role was recognized with the Golden Globe Award and Emmy Award for her performance in these shows. Parker received a Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her role as Proof on Broadway.
