He didn't really gain popularity until he played and streamed Fortnite through Twitch. He started his game career with the 100 thieves roster. However Nick Kolcheff recently made history in becoming the new participant in the FaZe Clan taking Turner Tfue as his replacement. Kolcheff had the Fortnite World Record for most squad kills, and still is for the many duo kills. Nickmercs who is among of Twitch's most popular Fortnite streamers also has the distinction of having killed more people in two players. What sets him apart from others is the fact that his streams are not censored and therefore more mature and appealing. He also has a huge popularity on YouTube. He's steadily becoming the wealthiest esports player around the globe and has a net worth of several million.
