Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. The parents of her daughter named her in honor of her hometown. Michel Horowitz was her father as well as Cynthia Palmer, his mother was both an author and editors. Ryder is a Jew. Ryder believes that her father came from a Jewish background. Uria is Ryder's younger sister. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are her half-siblings. Ryder's parents moved her and her siblings in Mendocino County California when Ryder turned seven. At the time, there was no electricity. There was no television books was her only source of entertainment to spend the time and she was a voracious reader. Ryder started taking acting classes at the American Conservatory Theatre when she reached the age of 12. She landed her debut role on the big screen in 1986, when she was 15 years older. Ryder experienced bullying at her high school. Ryder believed that if she became an actor her behaviour could be reduced. However, it didn't come to pass. But she continued to pursue her dream. Her big break occurred in the year 1988, when Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder was later cast in successful roles. She received nominations for two Academy Awards one for her part as a character in The Age of Innocence (1993).
